Bio:

I've worked as a farmer and a cowboy growing up on a Montana ranch. I learned Blacksmithing from the earliest I could be used to crank the blower fan on the forge. There I put in godly hours doing summer-fallow and harvesting wheat, rounding up range cattle and branding, dehorning and castrating calves. I learned field surgery on animals and how to deal with breach births on cows. I learned to know when the wheat is ready to cut by the taste in your mouth judging the moisture and how to plow a diagonal furrow on half a mile long that is as straight as a bullet by concentrating on the Montana skyline.

I've worked crappy jobs like brick making and janitorial work in mental institutions then overland truck driving and home construction. I've driven equipment from tandem axle grain trucks, combines, articulated tractors with tires that were 8' tall.

I've built houses and commercial buildings and had my own contractor licenses to do so while running my crews to remodel homes and offices. I've built barns and corrals, chicken houses and hog barns. Kitchen cabinets and fancy oak, built in library shelving for lawyers. And I've worked High red steel to make raceway sports towers.

I also enjoyed being involved with help groups for people with medical problems doing phone intervention or when I was voted on to the Board of Directors of a fine art school, The Art Student's League of Denver. This all leading to starting Fjellborg Vikings, my Viking age reenactor group, were I am the group leader.

And lastly, the years of being a "roommate" to a man who is diagnosed with developmental disabilities and cerebral palsy has been the experience that has made the biggest impact on my life, as I'm being paid to take care of someone who has become my greatest friend.
